Love should be simple but it never is. The girl in this song is clearly complicated but the one major thing she never does is cause a fuss. I wrote and re-wrote the words to this song umpteen times. I even bounced it off Rhett and he re-wrote them too. In the end I came back to basically what I'd had at the beginning. These words felt truest to what I was actually trying to convey. It will never be played at a wedding but I'm at peace with that...
